I'm great. Starved though. And way overworked at school. Glad its the weekend, but I have to read the rest of the Odyssey over it. Not fun.
I'm gonna get food, so I'll check the thread in the next few hours... tomorrow... something like that. Anyway, bye for now!

Malou groaned as she was awoken by a little girl that jumped up and down on her bed. The little girl shook her sister “Opstaan, opstaan!” she called. Malou sighed but pulled the girl next to her in a hug. The girl giggled as her sister started tickling her. Malou smiled shaking her head “oke liefje, ga je maar eerst aankleden, en maak je broers ook maar alvast wakker” she asked. The girl nodded eagerly and ran out of the room. The small blonde rose from the bed and headed into her bathroom and took a quick shower before heading downstairs and into the kitchen to make breakfast. She set the table and made some waffles and pancakes. Yes, her brothers and sister were settling in quickly. Two young boys came rushing down the stairs the little girl right behind them. Malou smiled turning around
“Rustig maar, het eten loopt niet weg…” she smiled as the three sat down and started loading food on their plates. She shook her head as she grabbed a waffle herself. She wasn’t to hungry, but knew she should at least try and eat something. They had moved down here a few months ago when they had decided that they just had to leave after what happened. She hadn’t even really had time to truly think about it all, and that, she figured, was all for the best. She probably would go mad… She then gave them all some lunch money and then ushered them all out the door. It was the last few weeks before the summer holidays and so the blond girl just dropped the three other of before going to the high-school. She entered the library and sat down as an older man stepped from behind the stacks.
“How did the patrol go last night?” he asked in a thick British accent.
Malou shrugged “They came, they attacked, they’re dust” she stated matter-of-factly leaning back in the chair “Any problems last night back home?” she in turn asked. The older man shook his head “No, everything went smooth” he replied eying the small blonde girl, her light-blue eyes that were like ice. He shook her head slightly. He was quit worried about his charge. She had still be so very young when he’d been dealt the responsibility of telling the girl about her destiny and then guiding her through all of this. She had been a quick learner and had soon become on of the best slayers there had ever been. Tough, ruthless and in total control, or so it seemed. She had turned out to be a strong little girl. The Watcher sometimes wondered though, whether this… complete emptiness. Even at the funeral his slayer had either stared of into space stoically, or comforting the group of people around them.
When she had told him they’d had died he had been willing to help her through this. He had even helped her with the move and helped her settle in and taken up the duty of babysitting while she was of on her patrols at night trying to find the forces of darkness, killing the vampires and demons that dared cross her path. It sometimes just seemed as if the slayer had drained the last bit of humanity out of her.
The blonde girl had to go to class and did the whole school thing and was ever so glad when the day came to an end and the last bell sounded. She again went into the library where she went through her training session. Then she picked up her brothers and sister, did some groceries and then went home where she helped her 12 year old brother with his schoolwork. She then cleaned the house a little and got started on diner and then the four of them just talked about their day, teasing as siblings did.
As usual, the doorbell sounded and she opened the door “Hey Jones” she greeted the man as she stepped aside to let him in. The girl grabbed her things and stepped out into the now darkened streets. She scanned the area making sure to stay alert and keep herself from getting killed. She walked passed the many cemeteries as they found out that this town apparently had been build on a ‘hellmouth’ and that meant it was some sort of magnet to the undead and ugly. She had often wondered when would start making these demons a little less ugly and slimy since that had ruined more the a few of her clothes.
She yawned, stretching her body as she walked the graveyard waiting for something to happen. She ran a hand through her long blond hair, narrowing her eyes as she heard a scream a bit further away. She sighed and ran towards the sound hoping that for once she’d be in time and be able to save someone. This was going to another long night… and tomorrow, she would get to do it all over again… oh my wasn’t she lucky? ===============
Sorry it’s soo crap.. I hope you can work with it….??
((oooh if you want to know
opstaan = get up.. or like wake up oke liefje, oke liefje, ga je maar eerst aankleden, en maak je broers ook maar alvast wakker = okay honey, go get dressed and go wake up you brothers as well...))

She was in Dutch-land. Evie was in a foreign country that spoke… Dutch. She just couldn’t believe it. It had been her belated birthday present to go here. Well, she had been more forced out of the place. Evie was sure her parents only paid so that they wouldn’t have to hear her and her sister Karina fight over the holiday. It wasn’t exactly her fault… her older sister just loved getting on her nerves. Such as calling Evie by her proper name: Evangeline. She snorted. Who called their daughter Evangeline? Only rich parents like hers who believed it was a “proper young lady’s name.” But Karina knew Evie hated it and called her by it anyway. The two didn’t mix and never would. It was a simple fact and Evie knew her parents would just have to live with it. If Evie didn’t care that she and Karina didn’t get along, then she didn’t see why her parents did?
Evie turned down a street listening fascinated to the Dutch. They were really quite interesting, too bad Hogwarts didn’t teach foreign languages. It would’ve helped her out a lot in this country where few people knew English and where even fewer could hear through a British accent. So Evie was marked as a horrible tourist everywhere she went. It wasn’t very fun.
She stuffed her hands into her pockets as a breeze came along, a rather cold one too. Evie blinked. That was odd. It was almost summer and a cold breeze was coming in? She had a strange feeling and it wasn’t very good, but she managed to shove it off, although she did quicken her pace very slightly and turned down another street, this time heading for what she was sure was the hotel room. She didn’t really know, but she hoped it was the right place. If her feeling was right, then she needed to find the right place fast.
As another cold touch came, her hopes dropped slowly, and then she was running. She shoved many people still on the street out of the way getting dirty glances from them. But as she passed others, she saw the same confused look on each. They couldn’t see them, but they could feel them. Her worst fear touched her brain again and she ran faster turning once again- into a dead again.
Evie cursed and turned around about to go back, but instead found her path blocked by a dementor. It was a clammy, looking thing causing Evie to let out a small cry. She reached into her jean pocket as it approached closer to her, curling its long fingers slowly. Drawing out her wand she pointed it shaking at the dementor. She was going to live… she was going to live… “Expecto patronum!” she cried out letting a small sleek cat attack the dementor driving it off, hopefully far, far away. Evie sighed as she slinked down the wall into a sitting position and put her head on her knees. If the beginning of this trip told anything about the rest of it, Evie didn’t think she wanted to
[[It's fine honestly. I hope this is okay. By the way which country are we in? I don't want to keep calling it Dutch-land. And if you didn't plan on us being in some Dutch country, sorry.]]

((I was actually thinking about them having moved to England or the US to be further away from home and the memories… but it’s okay hun, I only had them speak Dutch because well.. they were Dutch… and well they speak Dutch in The Netherlands… but hey we can work with that… it’s up to you what you want in your next post.,.. if you want you character to be someplace nicer than the Netherlands you can have her be wherever and I’ll just change my post…
I have to go to bed now too, since I have to get up early for work tomorrow and it’s about 1 am here now… I shall reply tomorrow though!!))
Malou rushed into the alley getting into a fighting stance but frowned as she saw some black ugly things depart. What the hell?? She whirled around to see if something else was still out there… but apparently that had been it. She sighed… now she’d have to go do research, and if there was anything she hated it was research. She looked around again and saw a girl sat against the wall with her head on her knees. The tiny blonde frowned and walked over to her crouching down in front of her “is alles goed?” she asked checking her for any obvious injuries that might have occurred.
Then she felt another presence and narrowed her eyes when a girl was dragged in the alley by a big brunette guy. She was pushed against the wall and he was already in vamp-face at the girl’s neck before Malou grabbed it’s shoulder and smiled innocently.
The man growled “Slayer…” he hissed.
Malou sighed rolling her eyes “Slayee” she simply retorted and she kicked the guy in the gut turning to the girl that had now just stood there wide-eyed as she had almost been vampire food “REN” she said and then girl hadn’t needed to be told twice before she run back wherever it was she’d come from.
“I don’t have to wait till St. Vigeous day” the vampire hissed. Malou took a punch to the face, “You’re mine”. She ducked a kick and swiped the vampire’s legs out from under it and as it tumbled to the ground she produced a stake and jammed it into the guys chest leaving nothing but dust smirking as she dusted herself of “Yeah, yeah, do you have any idea how often I hear that” she said rolling her eyes. Then a guy steps our from the shadows and cigarette between his lips as he slowly claps his hands.
“Nice work, luv” he smirked.
Malou frowned as she saw a bleached blond vampire with his head slicked back, jeans and a long leather jacked.
“Who are you?” the smaller blonde demanded.
“You find out on Saturday” he replied with a smile.
Malou sighed “What’s Saturday?” she asked confused.
“I kill you” came the simply statement as he turned and walked out of the alley, his jacket billowing behind him. Malou is to confused to really do anything more then just watch him leave. Damn… just her luck. Like she didn’t have enough to deal with without this damn tough talk. Like he actually tough he was scary? Come on.. she heard these threats a few times a night and really, it didn’t affect the young blonde whatsoever. She now remembered the other girl in the alley and walked back over crouching down before her again…
“Sorry hoor, gaat het een beetje?” she asked tying her long blond hair into a pony-tail.
