Right here is fine with me. I'm not exactly fond of e-mail rps.
I am a bit rusty on creating longer posts but I'll do my best. I just split from my fiance and he never let me rp so it's been a while.

(Yeah, it was hard though. I would love to continue later too. I'll be online most any time for now til I find a new job.)
Leah was the shy type her whole life and lately she had been even more so. She had become pregnant shortly before returning for her Junior year at Hogwarts and she had just recently noticed that her belly was growing. With a heavy sigh she stared into the calm surface of the lake and bit at her lip a little. He's going to kill me when he finds out. She thought as she thought about her father and all the pain he'd put her through in killing her mother and abusing her.
Daniel had always been completely oblivious to his sister being abused but when they were at school he was pretty much the only one she hung around so he was very protective of her. He knew his sister was shy and was always very cautious bout everything. He never understood why she was like that, however. He had never managed to see any of the bruises and Leah hoped he never would.
(Hope that's good enough for now) (I can adjust it if you'd like it to be in the 'normal' world. Either way is fine with me.)

A blond boy groaned as his alarm-clock had sounded. His hand shot out from under the covers and hit the blasted things. The southerner turned around again when there was a shout from down-stairs “JAMES, get your lazy ass out of bed”. It was his ‘foster-father’ and the blond sighed “COMING” he yelled back even though he knew how dangerous that was. He was just the house-slave and fucking punching bag. He stepped out of bed and quickly got dressed heading down the stairs where he fixed the ‘happy family’ breakfast. It was one of his morning chores. Then he made him and Gina, the new 6 year old arrival, lunch to take with them to school. The little girl smiled at him and as they headed out the door she took his hand tilting her head “You still in pain?” she asked softly.
The boy smiled shaking his head “Nah sugar-pop, I’m right as rain” his southern accent filled the air making the little girl giggle. He always had a nickname for everyone and she thought just was the funniest thing ever. She didn’t know the reason behind it though… and that was probably a good thing. When they reached (I think it’s kindergarten in America right?) the girl turned to the skinny blond and gave him a quick hug before rushing of to her friends. James smiled slightly as he watched her leave before he continued his way to what was going to be his new high school.
James sighed as he walked up to his new school. He threw away his cigarette-but. Was there anything worse then a first day in a new school? He entered the building and headed in searched for the principal’s office, where he assumed he’d be spending a lot of time, to collect his timetable. He then went in search of his first class… History. He sighed sitting down in the back row. He yawned taking out his books and opened one he had just started reading. It might come as s bit surprise, but the young southerner loved to read. It was his way of escaping his hell-hole of a life. His casually leant back in his seat his eyes lazily scanning the book. He really had no intention to pay any attention to the teacher what-so-ever.
The teacher had started his class and kept his eyes on the new blonde that had just started school today. The boy seemed rather into the book he seemed to have brought. The older man smiled and shaking his head as he walked over to the blonde’s desk.
“What was the cause of the WW1.. Mr. Ford?” he asked standing right before the boy.
“People are morons…” he replied without looking up from his book.
The teacher was a little taken aback by the answer “thank you for that insight Mr. Ford” he shook his head. The rest of the class just chuckled.
James sighed bored “The relationship between the countries was already strained because of the new imperialism. When the crown prince of Austro-Hungary in 1914, it was the last straw and tada… WW1” he summarized. There were a few more things that had contributed, but hell.. who cared? He hadn’t looked up from his book and now lazily turned a page.
The teacher raised an eyebrow “very well, just put the book away” he ordered smiling slightly.
The blond simply shrugged “sure teach” he responded putting the book back in his bag. He sighed… now how was he going to get through this class? He really hated transferring school. His whole body still ached from the beating he had received the night they all had left the last place. So yeah, he pretty much had that one coming, he had taken a neighbour’s car with a few friends for a joy-ride in drunken bravado. He smirked… that had been a great night. There had been alcohol… drugs. God had he been wasted… luckily the police hadn’t shown up until the next day. Ah well.. he’d just gotten through it like he had survived the rest of his life. He was a loner anyway. He just leaned back in his seat staring out of the window. This was going to be one looong day.
Finally though, the bell rang and he went outside sitting on the grass near the lake with his book. The blond lit a cigarette and blew out some smoke. School was just so boring. The boy leaned back on his elbows opening the book looking around seeing a blond girl near the lake as well with what he guessed was either her boyfriend, or her brother… ===============
Faith was awoken by the stumbling of feet up the stairs. She sighed closing her eyes for a second. Every morning it was the same damn thing. She slowly rose to her feet and tiptoed over to her bedroom door opening it slightly to see if her mother had brought a ‘visitor’. Tonight though, luckily, she was alone and so the small brunette headed over to the older woman, supporting her as they headed up the stairs. It was really was getting old. She took her mother to the bathroom where the woman threw up in the toilet.
The 14 year old sighed shaking her head as she brushed her mother’s hair out of her face. She practically forced a few glasses of water down the other’s throat before supporting her once again and taking her mother to bed. She sighed as she tucked her in and put a bucket next to the bed for if the older brunette would get sick later on.
She herself now went down to their little kitchen. She sat down staring out the window. She then started to make some breakfast and put a few sandwiches for her mother in the fridge before grabbing her books and headed out the door.
So yeah, the brunette hated school, and yeah, she skipped more classes then that she actually went to, but it was a nice campus with a large lake in the middle, and well, it got her out of the house and away from her mother. She knew her mother couldn’t help it. She knew her mother probably didn’t even know what she was really doing to her daughter, but the young girl could help but feel some resentment towards her. She sighed as she sat down near the lake. She was known as the ‘slut’ of the school, and well.. that was true… she had done most of the guys in the damn place… but mind you, she’d been the one in control… and don’t anyone ever forget that!
Was it her way of compensating the total lack of control she had at home, or just to try and make herself forget what even happened there? The brunette honestly didn’t know, and to her it didn’t matter anyway. She was getting by, surviving, and if she had to dig into her mother stash, or liquor-cabinet from time to time, or use all the guys she could get her hands on to do so, she would. She glanced around the place. There was a duo sitting not to far from her. They were always together. Next to them was a boy she’d never seen reading a book, a cigarette dangling from the corner of his mouth. She smiled. Alright, so whenever she didn’t have the money for her own smokes, she’d just bum one of his…
Faith glanced over at the duo again lighting a cigarette of her own. The girl always seemed so shy, and only hung around that boy, which the brunette guessed was the girls brother. Lately though, the girl had seemed even more … was it frightened, and Faith’s curiosity had been sparked. There was something familiar about it and maybe she’d just have to put her money were her mouth was and find a way to talk to her…
((hope this is alright with you? Well.. I have to go now… be back in like two or three hours… so hope to maybe see ya then…))

After a few moments of staring off, Leah stretched. Thankfully her brother had been working on his homework for the next class and hadn't noticed several bruises that had been left on her back. She didn't normally have to worry bout how her clothes fit but lately it seemed she couldn't stretch even without a sliver of her back coming into view, also the small bump that was slowly becoming obvious. She looked over at her brother then around her at the other two who were near the lake. "I think I'm going to head to my next class." She told her brother softly, her voice barely above a whisper as usual. As she stood and headed for her next class she pulled the book out of her backpack, not fully paying attention to where she was going. It took only a moment for a couple of guys to spot the young girl by herself, giving them opportunity to bother her. It was one of them, in fact, whom was the cause of her pregnancy. Though he wanted nothing to do with it. One of the three came up to Leah and knocked the book out of her hands as the other two grabbed the book and started to play keep away. Leah simply looked at the ground. "Please give me my book back." She stated quietly, biting at her lip. She knew it would only make things worse to try and grab the book since they were so much taller than her and since she didn't want anyone to see her bruises.
Daniel had been absorbed in his homework, waiting til the last minute to work on it, like usual. It was at this point that he heard his sister's faint voice and nodded. "That's fine, just be careful. I know you don't have anyone to walk with. I'll see you after school and we'll head home." He told her as he continued to work on his Grammar homework and essay. With a quiet sigh he looked up for a moment to watch his sister walk into the building. He knew she was shy but lately it was as if she was in a whole nother world even. He just didn't understand what was with her. With a shake of his head he continued to work on his homework, one of his friends stopping briefly to talk to him about a party that night and then heading off to his own class. Daniel had agreed to go to the party and then put his book away, thinking it might be good to head to class, himself.

James leaned back on his elbows, unaware of anything going on around him only paying attention to his book. He stretched folding one arm under his head blowing out some smoke. He hated school. It was boring and pointless.. it wasn’t as if they taught you anything that you could really use… They didn’t teach you how to survive. His moved slightly to keep the strain of off the bruises on his back. He had never bothered hiding it. Everybody just seemed to assume our little blond rebel had just gotten them by getting into fights and whatnot. And well… they weren’t too far of. Every day was a fight for the girl.
The teen remembered the day he had ended up in that hell-hole. It had been the day of his mother’s funeral. The then 8 year old had just stared at the empty hole that would soon hold his mother. His normally stormy, mischievous sea-coloured eyes had just been empty and emotionless. He just didn’t understand how someone could just disappear like that? His father hadn’t even gotten a funeral. His mother’s coffin was now loaded into the hole. He still didn’t shown any form of emotion. He just stood there amongst his relatives.. a lost little boy. He had his hands balled into tiny fists. When everyone had left, a woman had come to talk to him. She had told him she was from social services and that she had found him a new family to stay with. He had shrugged silently. He didn’t really care.
He hadn’t banked on a family like this one though, but had quickly learned to just shut up and deal with it. He had soon become numb to whatever was happening and had taken everything in his stride.
Back in present day the sea-coloured eyes scanned the page of the book pressing the memories to the back of his mind. He really, really did not want to think about all that. He had more important things to worry about. Like how he was going to keep the little girl safe. He sighed. Why did they have to get her involved? Hadn’t they screwed him up enough? He sighed shaking his head as he turned a page. This was going to be one long ass day.
The blond looked up as the girl next to him got up and walked back to the school. He narrowed his eyes… Poor kid… Something was majorly bothering her, and it didn’t seem like the boy had a clue as to what it was. He sighed inwardly. There was no way he would be able to help her though. He first had to sort out his own mess. ==================
Faith sighed as she blew out some smoke trying to figure out what she was going to do for the rest of the day. She was already bored with going to classes and figured she’d just skip the rest of the day. The girl beside her had now gotten up and Faith watched her head towards the school. She narrowed her eyes though when she saw a couple of assholes harassing her. She sighed rising to her feet slowly making her way towards where the guys were bullying the blond. She smirked as they tossed the book between them the girl just standing there trying to get the book back by softly asking for it. Faith rolled her eyes and she was right in there, grabbing the book right out of the air handing it back to the blond girl.
“Here you go” she smiled.
One of the guys whistled grabbing the brunette by the shoulder “Faithy… finally decided to come back to me?”
Two big brown eyes narrowed as the boy touched her and her fear was hidden by anger and defiance. She really hated physical contact, unless it was seks and on her terms. She spinned around looking him dead in the eyes “you really want to let go now Sam” she hissed, but the boy just laughed at her. The brunette had never been one to be messed with and years of fighting had taught her a move or two. She reached out and grabbed the boys collar slamming her knee into the guys crotch. His face now was screwed up in pain and his shade had gone white.
“Don’t ever mess with me again” she warned turning to the girl “you alright?” she asked guiding her into the building which was now mostly empty since it was such a nice day out. The brunette smiled at her “you need to learn to stand up for yourself” she suggested “I’m Faith” she introduced herself extending her hand.
