here's the topic I made for us... *smiles* a few questions before I start the rolplay... did you really want to keep this harry potter based? as we could also now set this into the 'normal world' I was just asking as I do not get a lot of chance to do a 'normal world' rolplay... *tilt...* just wanted to see what you think...?

Hmmmm.. well... since I have James be about 16 and in foster-care (at least if that is alright with you) perhaps we could set this in highschool? It rather depends on whom you want to play...
perhaps out characters start of hating each-other/being 'rivals' of sorts... and then start forming some sort of understanding... a fragile friendship perhaps? I don't know... what do you think?

-nods- I would much rather play them as adults, say 20-25ish. I really just hate all things highschool. -laughs- An maybe its because I cant see James as a young'in -giggles- I was thinking something like he could be in some sort of trouble (big surprise), and my lady (Remington Marshall) works for some sort of protection agency or something, they would naturally dis-like each other at first, bc of his personality and hers. -shrugs- I guess its up to you really. I just hate highschool. -laughs-

*smiles* I have to say I have never played him as an adult before... *tilts head* the way I have develloped him is really as teen... but we don't have to do the 'highschool thing...'
perhaps hmmm.. he ends up in trouble indeed I dont know.. ends up on the streets or something... or gets himself in some trouble with some drugsdealer or something.. (as I am sure he did some when he was that age (in my opinion anyway)) and well... I don't know... *sigh* I just don't know if I can play him as adult...
I sure we can work something out though... *smiles*

Well the youngest character I have is 18. -nods- Crystal Andrews
I guess we could work something out as young adults. I have a hard time playing as a child, which is why my characters are mostly old. -laughs- I have a starter for her, thats based around her just graduating and starting life in the 'real world'. If you would like for me to post it, and see if it goes in the direction you want? -shrugs-

"Welcome To The First Day of The Rest of Your Life." She read over the letter for the sixth time since it had arrived the night before. Folding it back up, she slid it into the torn envelope. This was the fourth college to send her an acceptance letter since graduation a week ago. Now, was the hard part, deciding which one had offered her the best perks. A decicion that would basically determain the rest of her life. She laid the letter down next to the small purple laptop, and headed for the door. All this thinking was starting to drive her a bit mad.
Grabbing up her over-sized Chanel purse, sliding on the black pumps, and the black bomber jacket she was out the door into the cool autume air. The light breeze messed her long, neatly curled blond hair, as she walked through the crowded street in downtown Chicago. Blue eyes searching for her next destination. Finally she spotted a small coffee shop as she pushed through the 'end of work' traffic. The coffee shop was pretty dead at this hour, which didnt seem to bother what so ever. Aprroching the counter she smiled at the small girl behind the counter. "Just a mocha latte, please." She said handing her a five from her pocketbook. Taking the drink she headed to a table in the far corner, setting her purse down in the chair next to her.
Removing the laptop from her purse, she sat it on the table infront of her opening the browser. Facebook of couse. She browsed the page, growing bored almost instantly. Shutting the laptop, she let out a deep sigh looking around the now more busy shop. Men, and women of all ages mingled about making her grow even more lonely then she had been at her small apartment.
Since graduation she spent alot of time by herself. Unlike her fellow class mates who were living it up, going on cruises, and partying till the sun came up. No not Crystal. She sat at home, killing herself over which college was going to best suit her. It wasnt that she didnt have hundreds of friends or what she was anything less than popular but since the last day of highschool, things had changed within her. The once materialist girl, set on being the most popular was now stand-offish, and simple. It almost amazed her how much she had changed in just a week. She was almost like a different person, and everyone who knew her had seen it. Too bad her parents weren't around to see it too.
Her attention was drawn to some comotion outside the coffee shop, she was surprised to see the source of the noise. James Sawyer. She shook her head lightly, knowing this boy. He had been in trouble since the day she had first laid eyes on him back in her first years at St. Mathhews High School. Sliding her computer back into her bag she stood, brusting the wringles from the tight destroyed jeans that hung low on her hip. "Maybe he wont notice me." She said pulling the purse over her shoulder, and heading towards the door.
(The way this is wrote is for them to have previously had some sort of relationship or friendship or something. Maybe he could have been her highschool crush, but got expelled or something like that.)

(I mean I would rather himbe older but I mean I could do 16 I guess. Might be for fun, if he is out on his own with no one that can tell him what to do, but like I said I can make anything do-able lol.)

*smiles* my god I'm being difficult... I just like writing some scenes from his home-situation... as that is basically where I based the whole James-character on... but if you really don't want me too. that's okay too...

-laughs- Its probably actually me being difficult. Im a bit hard-headed and I apologize. -nods- I dont mind using a bit of his home-situation. I mean just because hes older doesnt mean that it wouldnt still affect him. -shrugs- He could still live in a foster home, but just isnt under the same restrictions as foster childern. -laughs- I dont know. I should be less picky.

I think I could be less picky too.. I just think james would not spent one more second in fostercare then he needed too... *sigh* how about I just make a starter having him be 17 (only one year younger then your character) and you see if you like it and if it works...?

I wanted to go to university and than that is mandatory here (there are different levels of education in highschool down here depending on what you want to do after... *smiles* Working on the reply now... now I just gotta think of something he could do that would be causing the comotion)
