A small brunette awoke bolting upright in bed. She sighed… Not again…? She yawned as she slowly rose from her small bed tiptoeing to the door of her room as there were voices now travelling their way up stairs. She sighed as she carefully opened the door. She peered out from around the corner seeing her mother slouched on the stairs with some guy looming over her. She sighed. She knew her mother needed help. The man now looked up and noticed the small girl, He gave her a lopsided grin before straightening up and stumbling towards the small girl who now took an involuntary step back swallowing. She however knew what was going to happen and also knew that fighting was pointless. The man ran a large, dirty hand through her long dark curls. She bit the inside of her lip but kept silent.

“My, my, aren’t you a pretty one?” he slurred.

The girl took a deep breath and just stared at the ground when he started guiding her to the bed in her room. She simply let it happen taking of her nightgown as she sat on the bed, the man large hands roaming over her pale naked flesh. She didn’t dare resist. It would only hurt more and give a lot of drama. When the guy was satisfied he simply left leaving her free to go check on her mother. She slowly moved to the stairs where her mother was still sat. She sighed wrapping one arm of her mother around her shoulder and supporting the older brunette with a hand around her waist. She lead the woman to the bathroom where she threw up in the toilet. Faith practically forced some water down her mother’s throat before guiding her to the ‘master’ bedroom in the house tucking her mother into bed before cleaning up the mess that had been left. She then turned back to her own room tears starting to form in large deep brown eyes. She clenched her jaw however and bit them back angrily. It wasn’t like that would help anything or make things better. She then stepped into the dingy bathroom taking a long hot shower, her skin raw and painful as she slipped between her sheets again closing her eyes. How much longer could she handle this? She groaned as she tossed and turned for the rest of the night.

When her alarm went of she slowly turned to the blasted thing and turned it of. She kept staring at the ceiling for a few more minutes. She sighed getting up disappearing of into the bathroom getting dressed into her usual dark jeans and short top. Sure she knew she was known as the school ‘slut’ and hell, she couldn’t blame them. She had fucked almost every boy there. She didn’t care though. It gave her the power she so desperately needed. The power she didn’t possess back home.

She applied her mostly stolen make-up… Hell she had to try and make sure they would not get evicted, she didn’t have money for things like eye-shadow, lipstick etc. She then headed down the stairs and headed into the small kitchen deep in thought as she made some breakfast. Yesterday had been so weird. Some woman had come over to her and had told her they needed to talk. She hadn’t known what to make of it and had simply shrugged and walked along with her. She had been stunned… She was chosen to kill vampires, demons and other stuff? How was that even possible? She was a screw-up, always had been. She had just stared at her like she’d gone mad and smirked

“I think I should be calling the good man in white” she had responded.

The woman had shaken her head “I know this is a lot to take in Faith” she said understandingly “But make no mistake, it most certainly is the truth, come by the Northern Cemetery tonight and you’ll see” she had suggested before walking away.

The brunette sat at the kitchen-table munching on some bread before making her mother a few sandwiches for when she’d wake up. She then grabbed her bag and headed out the door to make her way to school.

Last night had been scary. She had gone to the graveyard and had met up with the woman from the other day. She had stood over a what seemed to be fresh grave and when she’d asked what the hell they were doing there the woman had just pointed at the grave and had told her to wait. It hadn’t taken long for a hand to shoot out of the grave and Faith had jumped back a little. The man that emerged had first looked confused but then smiled wickedly.

“So they bring take-out now too?” he had smirked.

The brunette had gasped when the man changed into his vampire features and turned to the woman “What do I do now?” she asked a slight panic to her voice.

The woman smiled “just follow you’re instincts” she had said.

Faith sighed and nodded narrowing her brown eyes as the man advanced. They fought for a good while before she had finally been able to stake him leaving nothing but dust.

Now she was making her way to school.. something she really hated… but hey, she didn’t want to get expelled now did she? She entered the large building and whispers started erupt around her. She smirked.. god did she hate all this goody-two-shoes hypocrites that she went to school with. She sighed deeply as she took a few books out of her locker and headed into her first period of the day ahead. She sat at the back of class counting the seconds as the teacher droned on about one thing or another. She sighed resting her head on her hands staring out the window... This was going to be one long day....

Isabella Edwards was a new student at this school. She was nervous it was her first day. She was going to be the new girl. She hated being the new girl. She missed her friends at her old school. She was popular there. She had long blond hair and baby blue eye's. She walked into the office of the school and got her schedule. She had been running a little late. She walked down the hall to find the class room. She found it and knocked on the door.

She walked into the class room. The teacher anounced who she was. "Everyone this is Isabella Evans. She is new here this is her first day" The teacher said.

"Have a seat"The teacher said and pointed at the empty chair.

Everyone staired at her. She felt so uncomfortable she didn't know anyone.

But atleast she was pretty so she could make tons of friends fast, the worst thing was that everyone could hate her.

There was a girl that sat next to her she seemed somewhat different and normal at the same time. The teacher told them what page to open she opened the book. There was a boy next to her on the other side that kept starring.

Faith yawned as she closed her eyes. There was a knock on the door and she glanced up slightly. Some stepped into class. Someone she had never seen before. She was probably new. Soon the teacher confirmed her suspicion as she was introduced to the class. Faith smiled slightly as the girl was sat in a empty seat near her. She then ran a hand through her wild dark curls. The young teen sighed slightly as she opened her book to the page the teacher had told them open and scanned the contents. Nothing too interesting there. She rolled her eyes. It wasn’t as if she was stupid, really she wasn’t, she just hated having to study and usually never opened a book. She had enough to worry about. Her mother and the men she brought home, the household that would just never get done if she didn’t do it, grocery-shopping, making sure the bills were being paid… she had a part-time job in the weekends to be able to help her mother out so that they wouldn’t end up on the streets. She closed her eyes just exhausted from all this. And now she had been ‘chosen?’ that was just weird.

She didn’t even know if she was going to be able to do that. She would have to meet the woman later this afternoon at the address she’d been handed. She would have to train…. How great. She smirked inwardly before leaning back in her seat ignoring the teacher. She just wasn’t one to sit around and do nothing. Her mother used to call her a ‘firecracker’ when she was little, and really she still had that. She was one to dive from the highest rock in the nearby lake… she was the only one of the children that would dare dive of off that rock. That was just the way she was. She wasn’t like most girls…. She looked around the room. Nope she really wasn’t. For one, she had pretty much – shall we say – had most of the guys in the school and she had the reputation of being really easy, and didn’t mind one bite. She was small, barely 5 ft. slim build but with curves in all the right places. She usually wore tight clothing. She had never been serious with any of the guys she had slept with, and usually just kicked them out of the house when they were done. That worked just fine with her.

Yes she knew it didn’t make sense. She just loved that with the boys from school she had the control. She would decide what happened and she made sure to be on top. The brunette smiled slightly. Oh yes, she really had some good times with the ‘boys’. She turned back to staring out the window and was just glad when the bell rang. The brunette quickly got to her feet and packed her stuff before quickly making her way out of the room. She smiled as she got out of the room and walked outside for a minute to have a smoke.
